A light banking hall with glass roof, glass floor and aluminium – Wagner’s modern meeting place for small savers.

Otto Wagner designed both the building and its furniture, lamps and heating. The hall shows the path from Art Nouveau to modernism. It is now a museum and event space in Vienna.

Materials: Glass, steel, aluminium, linoleum

Manufacture: The glass roof rests on steel columns; the warm-air vents and fittings were made in the new material aluminium.
