AB Märta Måås-Fjetterström
The weaving workshop in Båstad, which after the founder’s death in 1941 continued with new designers such as Barbro Nilsson and Marianne Richter.
Märta Måås-Fjetterström opened her weaving workshop in Båstad and made rugs and wall hangings with motifs from nature and folk art. She worked in rölakan, rya and other techniques.
After her death Barbro Nilsson and then other artistic directors led the workshop, and designers such as Marianne Richter and Ann-Mari Forsberg made rugs that are found in many public settings. The workshop still weaves in Båstad.
Woven initials AB MMF and often those of the designer and weaver.
