French glass artist and cabinetmaker, the master of Art Nouveau in Nancy.

Émile Gallé took over his father's workshop in Nancy and made glass with plants and insects that he studied as a botanist.

He gathered the School of Nancy, a group of artists who made Art Nouveau in Lorraine.
