Victor Horta
Architect
Belgian architect who created Art Nouveau interiors in which iron, glass and furniture form one whole.
Victor Horta’s Hôtel Tassel in Brussels (1893) is counted as the first Art Nouveau house.
He designed the furniture, mosaic floors and lamps for his houses, with lines running from the banister out into the room.
