Designer from the Isle of Man who gave Liberty’s silver and pewter Celtic interlace.

Archibald Knox studied Celtic ornament on the Isle of Man and came to London in the 1890s.

For the Liberty & Co. store he designed hundreds of objects in the Cymric (silver) and Tudric (pewter) ranges, with interlacing bands and enamel inlays.
