Georg Jensen
Silver workshop in Copenhagen with designers such as Johan Rohde, Harald Nielsen, Sigvard Bernadotte, Henning Koppel and Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe.
Georg Jensen trained as a goldsmith and sculptor and opened his workshop in Copenhagen in 1904. His silver was hand-hammered, with fruit, leaves and animals, and Johan Rohde added a more austere form.
In the 20th century Harald Nielsen, Sigvard Bernadotte, Henning Koppel and Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe worked for the silversmithy. The Konge cutlery pattern, known in English as Acorn, and the Vivianna watch became classics. Georg Jensen has been part of the Fiskars group since 2022.
